Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of industry experience in Software Development, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience in Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing
  • Experience automating processes
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with senior management
  • Experience providing technical leadership and educating other engineers for best practices on data engineering
  • Ability to analyze and solve practical business problems, demonstrates good decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong technical aptitude
  • Experience with data virtualization tools a plus
  • Experience with digital marketing APIs a plus

The Data Engineer will be joining a newly-created team and will be asked to build the data engineering expertise within the company.   • Build, test and operate stable, scalable data pipelines that cleanse, structure and integrate disparate data sets into a readable and accessible format for end-user facing reports, data sciences and ad-hoc analyses
  • Participate in the overall project life cycle by designing solutions and ensuring timely and successful project completion; contributing to high-level estimation and layout of the development sequences
